About us

Arts Together is working with the cultural and creative sectors in Leeds to build pathways and career opportunities for freelance artists and creative professionals (including micro-businesses of up to 9 employees).

Arts Together is a unique network of creative arts and community organisations, with members ranging from the national to the hyper-local. Not all the opportunities you find on our site will be relevant to everybody, so if you see something that looks interesting but isn’t for you, pass it on to someone it might be good for, and let’s build this network together.

Supported by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and mayor Tracy Brabin, we want early career creative talent to grow and develop right here in Leeds. We know that freelancers aren’t bound by the city walls however, so we’re also working closely with our sister networks in Calderdale, Kirklees, Bradford and Wakefield, sharing opportunities and great ideas. You can find out more about these networks below.

With its origins in community engagement, Arts Together values inclusion, accessibility and equal opportunities for all. As well as signposting specific training, development and funding opportunities we will also hold regular open-house meetings, where you can tell us what you need that we might be missing. Together we can make our sector more inclusive, culturally richer and ever more rewarding for our artists, our creative professionals and for the communities we all serve.
